About Black Llama

A privacy company forpeople who build software.

We make one thing: Sentinel, which reads your code on a sealed machine, finds where your users’ personal data or your keys could leak, and tells you exactly how to fix it. Then it gives you a dated badge, so you can show it.

PRIVACY, PROVEN IN CODE

Why we exist

Software is being written faster than anyone can read it.

AI tools let one person ship what used to take a team. That’s good. It also means personal data flows through code nobody has read line by line: into logs, analytics, AI prompts and storage buckets. We built Sentinel to read it for you, without ever keeping a copy.

Why not “SOC 2 fast”

We chose the narrow lane on purpose.

There is a crowded market promising SOC 2 in days, and recent allegations about how some of those reports were produced have made buyers wary of shortcuts. We don’t issue audits and we don’t pretend to. We check one specific thing well, where personal data can leak from your code, and we say plainly what a clean result does and doesn’t mean. When you are ready for SOC 2, your compliance platform and a CPA firm take it from there.
