Most scanners check your site from the outside.Sentinel reads your code.

Outside-in scanners load your live site the way a visitor or an attacker would. Sentinel reads your source and follows personal data into logs, AI calls, trackers and third parties, then gives the file, the line and the fix.

Plainly

What each is for.

Outside-in scanners

Decloak, SafeToShip, Vibe App Scanner and VibeWrench check the live site: headers, exposed files, keys in public scripts, open endpoints. They are good at that, and some test it actively.

Sentinel

Reads the code itself, so it sees what the live site never shows: personal data written to logs, sent in AI prompts, handed to trackers and third parties. Each finding comes with the file, line and fix, and a dated badge buyers can check.

Use both

An outside-in scanner and Sentinel answer different questions. Run one on the live site alongside Sentinel on the code. Our own free live check is a quick outside look to start with.
